In his role as CTO of eZee inc, Enrique is responsible for the company's technology direction and product development, as well as R&D, and industry standards compliance. He also participates on various mobile standards bodies.

Enrique is an industry recognized subject matter expert in end-to-end mobile computing, is a known author and technologist evangelist, possessing skills and experience in strategy, management, architecture and development. His true passion is mobile and embedded technologies.

Prior to founding eZee, Enrique worked in management and engineering positions at Artemis Wireless Werks, IBM, Dell, Aligo, and AGEA Corporation. With close to 20 years of experience in technology development, Enrique also helped define the Java platform that powers millions of mobile handsets today. Enrique is a founding member of the Austin Wireless Alliance, the Carnival of the Mobilists, and founder of the Mobile Monday Austin chapter. He also is member of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM). He is a recognized mobility blogger.

His role as a mobility evangelist involves articulating technological vision and influencing management, product marketing and development teams. This role has him interacting with suppliers and partners. He has a rich track record in publishing papers, making presentations on this topic, and participating in industry expert groups. Consequently, he has become a respected pioneer in end-to-end mobility computing, mobile Java, mobile web, and related intellectual property.
